<br />~, <br />NOTICE <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division proposes to approve with <br />conditions, a permit revision under the provisions of the Colorado Surface <br />Coal Mining and Reclamation Act. The permit revision was submitted by West <br />Elk Coal Co. of P.O. Box 591, Somerset, Colorado for the Mt. Gunnison No. 1 <br />Mine. <br />The permit revision proposes to construct an access road and a waste disposal <br />pile for mine rock and other coal refuse material. The site is located on a <br />level area above the portals. The legal description of the land in question <br />is Section 16, T13S, R90W, 6 P.M. The U.S.G.S. 7.5 Minute Bowie Qadrangle <br />Topographic Map contains the area in which the project will be constructed. <br />Anyone who may be adversely affected by this decision may request a formal <br />hearing with the Mined Land Reclamation Board. Such a request must be <br />submitted in writing within 30 days to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Division, Room 423, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. <br />BL/sjv <br />1391E <br />
