County Comprehensive Plan.
There will not be any farmland taken out of production.
The proposed use will in no way interfere with farm use
which will fit the Weld County Ccmprehensive Plan.
A statement explaining how the proposal is consistent with the intent of
the district in which the use is located.
Mining is allowed and is consistent with the intent of
the agricultural district. A crushing plant is also
consistent with mining. There are no plans to farm in
the future.
If applicable, a statement explaining what efforts have been made, in the
location decision for the proposed use, to conserve productive agricultural
land in the agricultural zone district.
`I'he gravel pit will not affect present or future agricul-
tural land.
• A statement explaining there is adequate provision for the protection of
health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the neighborhood and
the county.
'I7~e gravel pit meets the health, safety, and welfare
standards of the State of Colorado and it will be
maintained to protect the neighborhood and Weld County.
The mining operation conforms to all state and federal
regulations (Mined Land Reclamation Permits, Mine Safety
and Health Administration).
A statement explaining the uses permitted will be canpatible with the
existing surrounding land uses (include a description of existing land
uses of all properties adjacent to the property).
The surrounding land uses on two sides are gravel pits;
to the north is agricultural; south is a salvage yart3;
the gravel pit is from the fence north on the agricul-
tural side and is signed. The river separates the other
gravel pit frcxn Weld County's gravel pit.
A statement explaining the proposed use will be comg~atible with the future
development of the surrounding area as permitted by the existing zone and
• with future development as projected by the conprehensive plan of the county
or the adopted master plans of affected municipalities.
The gravel pit is comq~atible with future development as
projected by the comprehensive plan. We feel, due to their
locations, are canpatible with future development.
