A statement explaining how the proposal is consistent with the Weld <br />County Comprehensive Plan. <br />There will not be any farmland taken out of production. <br />The proposed use will in no way interfere with farm use <br />which will fit the Weld County Ccmprehensive Plan. <br />A statement explaining how the proposal is consistent with the intent of <br />the district in which the use is located. <br />Mining is allowed and is consistent with the intent of <br />the agricultural district. A crushing plant is also <br />consistent with mining. There are no plans to farm in <br />the future. <br />If applicable, a statement explaining what efforts have been made, in the <br />location decision for the proposed use, to conserve productive agricultural <br />land in the agricultural zone district. <br />`I'he gravel pit will not affect present or future agricul- <br />tural land. <br />• A statement explaining there is adequate provision for the protection of <br />health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the neighborhood and <br />the county. <br />'I7~e gravel pit meets the health, safety, and welfare <br />standards of the State of Colorado and it will be <br />maintained to protect the neighborhood and Weld County. <br />The mining operation conforms to all state and federal <br />regulations (Mined Land Reclamation Permits, Mine Safety <br />and Health Administration). <br />A statement explaining the uses permitted will be canpatible with the <br />existing surrounding land uses (include a description of existing land <br />uses of all properties adjacent to the property). <br />The surrounding land uses on two sides are gravel pits; <br />to the north is agricultural; south is a salvage yart3; <br />the gravel pit is from the fence north on the agricul- <br />tural side and is signed. The river separates the other <br />gravel pit frcxn Weld County's gravel pit. <br />A statement explaining the proposed use will be comg~atible with the future <br />development of the surrounding area as permitted by the existing zone and <br />• with future development as projected by the conprehensive plan of the county <br />or the adopted master plans of affected municipalities. <br />The gravel pit is comq~atible with future development as <br />projected by the comprehensive plan. We feel, due to their <br />locations, are canpatible with future development. <br />
