(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of July 13 <br />through July 19, 2003. <br />The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low <br />temperatures ranged from 52° F to 58° F, and highs ranged from 79° F to 97° F. Weather <br />observations were made on six days of this seven-day reporting period. <br />Construction Svnonsis <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase PJb <br />construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting <br />period (July 14 through July 19). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Pdb construction activities on seven days <br />of this seven-day reporting period (July 13 through July 19). <br />Phase Nb <br />Ames compacted subgrade Structural Fil1(SF) in prepazation for Soil Liner Fill (SLF) placement in the <br />Phase TVb OSA on the south facing slopes of Substafion Hill and Raven Hill. <br />Ames exposed approximately 1001inear feet of geomembrane liner at the Phase IVb / Phase I /Phase II <br />tie-in by removing previously placed Drain Cover Fill (DCF) and a 20-foot access road. <br />Ames resumed excavation of the Phase IVb OSA geomembrane anchor trench on the Substation Hill <br />upper bench area, excavating approximately 200 linear feet of anchor trench in preparation for <br />
