(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of July 13 through July 19, 2003. The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 52° F to 58° F, and highs ranged from 79° F to 97° F. Weather observations were made on six days of this seven-day reporting period. Construction Svnonsis Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase PJb construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (July 14 through July 19). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Pdb construction activities on seven days of this seven-day reporting period (July 13 through July 19). Phase Nb Ames compacted subgrade Structural Fil1(SF) in prepazation for Soil Liner Fill (SLF) placement in the Phase TVb OSA on the south facing slopes of Substafion Hill and Raven Hill. Ames exposed approximately 1001inear feet of geomembrane liner at the Phase IVb / Phase I /Phase II tie-in by removing previously placed Drain Cover Fill (DCF) and a 20-foot access road. Ames resumed excavation of the Phase IVb OSA geomembrane anchor trench on the Substation Hill upper bench area, excavating approximately 200 linear feet of anchor trench in preparation for
