The topsoil will be used for reclaiming the Peabody office <br />site and the Rice house pond drainage project (Map 2.05.4 (2)(d)-1). <br />WFC conducted a field survey of topsoil stockpile(s) in the New Horizon <br />1 area. one stockpile north of the San Miguel Landfill was found. It <br />contained approximately 1,750 cubic yards. <br />The Peabody office site will need 3,550 cubic yards of topsoil to cover <br />the 2.64 acres (10 inches depth) of disturbed land. WFC estimates an <br />additional 180 cubic yards of topsoil will be needed to cover the <br />effected area(s) at the Rice house pond drainage project. Approximately <br />1,980 cubic yards of topsoil are necessary from New Horizon 2 for New <br />Horizon 1. <br />New Horizon 2 has excess topsoil along the southern mining limit (just <br />north of 007 Pond Road) that ie being left by the present Mine Permit. <br />This is the topsoil WFC is requesting to use. <br />Enclosed are three copies of this revision for your files.
