<br />Bulldog Mountain Operation <br />Operational Plan <br />Page 7 <br />2. Construction of access roads will not commence until authorization <br />has been given by the District Ranger. <br />3. Reclamation will proceed as parts of the planned operation are <br />phased out, or within one year of the conclusion of the operation, <br />unless a longer .period of time is allowed by the author-izjng <br />officer. <br />It is, however, agreed that we, the operator, shall, as a minimum, <br />a. Control erosion or aggrevation of conditions that may result <br />in landslides. <br />b. Control water runoff caused by the operations. <br />c. Isolate, remove, or control toxic materials. <br />d. Reshape and revegetate distrubed areas in accordance with direction <br />furnished by the District Ranger. <br />e. Eliminate hazards to the public health and safety. <br />f. Take all practicable measures to maintain and protect wildlife <br />habitat, including fisheries, which may be affected by the <br />operations. <br />4. It is agreed, that if it becomes expedient to exceed the work <br />requirements proposed in the Operating Plan, a supplemental plan <br />will be filed in advance of such work and the necessary approval <br />secured. <br />5. It is herein agreed that during all operations,the operator shall <br />maintain his structures, equipment and other facilities in a safe, <br />neat, and workman-like manner. Hazardous sites or conditions <br />resulting from the operations shall be marked by signs, fenced <br />or otherwise identified to protect the public. <br />6. Temporary facilities may be required by the engineer-contractor <br />such as trailer/office, tool shed, and toilets, Unless otherwise <br />authorized by the authorized officer, it is agreed to remove within <br />two months on cessation of operations, all structures, equipment, <br />and other facilities and to clean up the site of operations. <br />
