<br />0~'` 7. Provide an approximate timetable to describe the mining operation. This is for the purpose of <br />establishing the relationship between mining and reclamation. Tn this case describe the size of area to be <br />disturbed at any one time. This is [he area of maximum disturbance. (Area)s) where reclamation work <br />has not been completed) (See Rule 6.4.4(e)). <br />+( 8. Rule 6.4.4(f) requires that you provide a narrative to present information on the nature, depth and <br />thickness of the deposit to be mined and the thickness and type of overburden to be removed. Please <br />provide this information, even if you have to provide an educated guess of the ranges, depths and <br />thickness. <br />~ ~1 9. Please provide your plan to control sediment and keep ij from entering the drainage along BLM Road <br />6227 ,md Oak Creek, during the mining operation. , <br />Exhibit-E-Reclamation Plan <br />~~ ]0. Incompliance with Rule 6.4.5(c) and Rule 3.1.5(3), describe the drainage of the area upon final <br />reclamation. Show the drainage pattern on the exhibit F map. Sftow where drainage will leave the <br />reclaimed area, if it will. More detailed contour lines must be used on the map to show the drainage <br />pattern. Show approximate locations of the 7820', 7800' and 7780' contour lines. If sediment control <br />strucntres will remain upon reclamation such as a sediment trap (pond) at the entrance azea and other <br />locations, please describe them. Provide the dimensions and construction plans and specifications for <br />these structures in the mining plan (exhibit D) and show them on the exhibit F map. <br />?~~ ] 1. In accordance with Rules 6.4.5(c) and Rule 3.1.9(3), describe your plans for topsoil and other <br />overburden removal and segregation. Also describe your plans to protect topsoil from erosion. <br />Q~"t 12. Your Exhibit C Map only shows one small topsoil stockpile. Will all salvaged topsoil be stockpiled at <br />that location? If not discuss your plans for topsoil segregation, preservation, and replacement and show <br />other t~tockpile locations on an exhibit C map. See Rules 6.4.5(d) and 3.1.9(3). <br />~ 1 13. Please address the DOW's concerns in their August 28, 2001 letter regarding noxious weed proliferation <br />and th~.ir suggested seed mix intended to increase benefits to wildlife. <br />Exlribil-F-Reclamation Plan Map <br />Q(q 14. Provide contour lines of sufficient detail to portray the proposed topography of the reclaimed affected <br />land. 'T'hese lines should show the direction and rate of slope across reclaimed land. (see Rule 6.4.6(a)) <br />Exhibit-G-Wa!er Information <br />n(~ 15. Provide on an Exhibit C map a depiction of how the extraction, processing and load out operations will <br />be performed within bermed work areas to contain and collect storm water runoff and sediments to <br />prevent them from being carried to off-site drainage's. You can provide a drawing of a typical <br />operation showing the berms their size and location, if the berms are temporary. If they are permanent, <br />address them in exhibit D and E as appropriate and requested earlier in those exhibits. <br />Exhibit-N- Sorcrce ojLegal Right to Enter <br />~~ 16. Please provide the source of the legal right [o enter [o conduct the proposed mining and reclamation <br />operation. Refer to Rule 6.3.7 for information on how this requirement can be satisfied. <br />
