6.0 CLOSURE AND RECLAMATION
At termination of the spray evaporation operation the pumping, delivery, and spray evaporation
system will be dismantled and the reusable elements will be used at other operations, or may be
sold.
Any sludge that has accumulated in the holding pond will be characterized and disposed of in
accordance with all regulatory programs. The geosynthetic liner from the evaporation spray azea
will be salvaged to the extent possible for use at other operations. The liner will be cut along the
single seal seams and removed by rolling it back onto the packing rolls and loading it onto
flatbed trucks for transport.
Following removal and disposal of all equipment and the liner, the area will be reclaimed in
accordance with state guidelines. The area will be recontoured to the pre-operational grade and
hydrologic conditions.
It is estimated that dismantling and removing equipment, and recontouring the azea can be
• performed in a period of 30 days, with a cost of approximately $50,000 to $60,000.
n
U
BaIIIe Mountain Resources, fnc.
