Another 3000 cubic
yards of topsoil will be hauled onto the site. Therefore the calculated vohnne of topsoil to be
available for revegetation is approximately 5000 cubic yards. The balance of the area is
undisturbed and wiIl not require topsoil. It is our opinion that six inches of topsoil will be
sufficient rather than the nine to twelve indicated previously, because the effected area is
extremely sandy. The top soil pile will be situated as previously indicated.
The Mining Plan indicates there is very little topsoil in the affected area. That is the reason there
is very little topsoil stockpiled from the mining operations and additional topsoil must be hauled
into the pit area.
All other conditions of the First Replacement Reclamation Plan will remain as stated in the plan.
RODNEY HOPKINS
ROAD & BRIDGE FOREMAN
DISTRICT 2
ICIOWA COUNTY
PO BOX IUO
EADS, CO 81036
(719)438-SBIU
FAX (719) 438-5327
