Box 68 <br />Craig, CO 81625 <br />RE: Eagle 5 & 9 Mines, (C-81-044) <br />RN-02 and Midterm Review <br />Dear Mr. Terrell Johnson, <br />In response to our conversation concerning your suggestions for <br />changes to the Division's midterm review (please copy of internal <br />memo sent to you on 2-4-93), the Division makes the following <br />changes: <br />1. References to the mines being idled during the strike have <br />been changed to reference slowed production. <br />r~ <br />2. Jim Pendleton agrees that Cyprus can mine under the Williams <br />Fork AVF if it can convince the Division that it can repair <br />any possible damage to the hydrologic balance. <br />These suggestions will be incorporated into the Division's findings <br />document of RN-02 as well.
