<br /> <br />• The proposed mining plan is a continuation of <br />the Bettger Sand and Gravel operation conducted in <br />this area since 1970. As in the past the mining <br />will be conducted by the two Bettger brothers using <br />dozers, front-end loaders, and a scraper to move <br />ali material. It is anticipated that the area will <br />be mined as shown in Exhibit C, in Pive/ phases over <br />the next ten years. a ~ ~ ` -`= (`~'' <br />Work in the Phase I area will commence upon <br />permit approval with the removal and storage of <br />topsoil in the topsoil storage area located to the <br />north of the existing pit. Underlying this topsoil is a <br />silty clay subsoil in which rooting will also <br />oocur.
