I am going to answer your concerns in this letter. If you
need any of this u~formadon transferred to the exhibits in the amendment application, please
advise me and I tell see that it is done.
Exhibit C -Mining Plan
As shown in Exhibit E, Mining Plan Map, Figure 2, and explained in our Exhibit C, Mine
Plan, the stockpiling and mining will be occurring simultaneously. We will not have more
than 3000 tons topsoil stockpiled at any one point in time. We anticipate these stockpiles to
be cone-shape ..:;out 30' high and 100' in diameter. The overburden stockpiles will not
exceed 10,000 tons at an}' one point in time and will be stockpiled along the southern border
and in the northeastern comer. These stockpiles will be about 20' high, 50' wide and tun
about 500' down the length of the pit as the overburden is pushed off and into place.
Processed material will be stockpiled of course, but it is anticipated that it will be hauled off
as quickly as it is available. We don't anticipate stockpiles of more than 3000 tons. We
believe the topsoil stockpiles are in locations that will not be adversely affected by ongoing
tnitung operations.
The topsoil stockpiles a-ill be re-seeded as soon as they teach then 3000 ton maximum
capacity. This will prevent an}' voluntary weed problem. We will also continue the weed
control program that is currently in effect at this pit. "Ibis program consists of Customized
Weed Spraying visiting the site each spring aad fall to spray as needed for any noxious weeds
