Narrative on p. 173 needs to be revised and supplemented. All sediment ~~< ponds etc, are not covered in Appendix X, only Ponds 1 through 8 are. (4)(b) Sediment Ponds 1 & 2 are indicated on p. 177 to involve two natural depressions. As a result, these do not have the configuration dimens•tons of the designs apparently approved for these ponds in R~~endix X~ Drawings, supporting calculations and engineering cer~ti`i-eaYions need to be furnished to establish that these ponds do ~~ r\ have adequate capacity and otherwise conform to the requirements of ~ Rule 4.05.6(3). (4)(d) The narrative on p. 171 should be revised to state which types of ditches are designed for 10-year, 24-hour events. Ditches associated with the refuse area are required to be able to pass ~~`' 100-year, 24-hour events. There are two culverts in the eastern containment ditch at CRDA #2. If these have a purpose and are intended to remain in the ditch, their capacity to pass the required flow in the ditch must be demonstrated ,~~~ and this information as well as evidence of the existence of the culverts must be included in appropriate parts of the application package.
