<br />--Additional control measures for controlling fugitive emissions <br />from storage piles during windy conditions. <br />--Other public safety related issues such as truck wash facility; air quality <br />monitor at mine site. <br />Noise Abatement Plan: Will Western Mobile be required to provide a noise <br />abatement/control plan that includes: <br />--Establishing baseline data of pre-mining (A) noise and (B) sound levels <br />in community. <br />--Characteriztion of (A) noise and (B) sound in community. <br />--Prohibition of mining activity within one thousand feet of the property <br />line of a family residence. <br />--Protection of environment, property values, and quality of life <br />by imposing stringent restrictions on noise generated by mining <br />related activities. <br />--Installation of noise monitoring devises at residential boundary lines. <br />Slurry Wall and Water Issues: Where is the mine plan for the slurry wall including <br />discussion of purpose and function, materials, location, guarantee of pertormance, <br />impact on proximal residential aquifers? <br />Map of distinctive aquifers within the valley vis-a-vis proximal residences: Has such a <br />characterization been undertaken? <br />Is the Shupe's well identified in the documents? <br />Respectfully request prohibition of mining activity within one thousand feet of a <br />residential well. This would serve to protect residential wells, and rights of property <br />owners.
