Afield review of the condition of the affected <br />National Forest lands was held on Thursday, August 8, 1997., with representatives <br />of Kaiser, the Office of Surface Mining (OSM}, the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division (CMLRD), the Bureau of Land Management, and the Forest <br />Service. Based on the results of the field review, the Forest Service has no <br />objection to the Phase I bond release, with the following condition: that the <br />completion of the final grading and topsoil replacement, with the specified <br />drainage and diversion ditches, meet the approval of OSM and CMLRD, as directed <br />at the field review. <br />This does not constitute Final or complete acceptance of the required <br />reclamation for National Forest lands at the Chimney Rock Cosl Mine.
