Colowyo was asked to revise the page to indicate that Colowyo produces coal from <br />Federal Lease C-29225 along with the other Federal leases listed. Also on page 5, Colowyo was <br />asked to delete a reference to Table 1 that was deleted by the MR action. <br />Rule 2.05.3(1) Production methods and equipment. A narrative description of the specific type <br />and method of coal mining procedures and proposed engineering techniques, anticipated annual <br />and total production of coal by tonnage, and the major equipment2 to be used for all aspects of <br />those operations. <br />~ Provided in a revised Table 3, page 2.05-12, December 14, 2001 <br />z Provided in a revised Table 4, pages 2.05-13 and 14. The changes included deletion of 637 <br />caterpillaz tractors and change of future plans to use Caterpillar 739 B Haul Trucks and a <br />Caterpillaz D-11N in lieu of a Caterpillar 24 Grader. Colowyo was asked to clarify the dual <br />entries for light plants. <br />Rule 2.05.3(3)(a) See the Rules for the text of this rule. <br />Colowyo was asked to revise page 2.05-16 to more fully meet the description of facilities by <br />including a reference to facility removal costs of Exhibit 13 (pages D-18 through D-22) <br />Rule 2.05.3(5) Topsoil. A narrative explaining the method of removal and the amount to be <br />removed and the plan for storage of topsoil, subsoil, and other material within the permit area <br />subject to requirements of the topsoil removal performance standards of 4.06.2. This narrative shall <br />specify the depth of material to be salvaged from all disturbed areas based on the soil information <br />required by 2.04.9 and shall specify the volume of each type of material to be salvaged. A map of <br />any proposed storage structures shall accompany the narrative. The maps shall be prepared <br />according to the requirements of 2.10. <br />The narrative is found on gage 2.05-2 through 2.05-3 of the PAP. The narrative is in compliance <br />with this rule with the exception of specification of the depth of material to be salvaged from <br />disturbed areas. As the only undisturbed areas left are associated with the West Pit, Colowyo is <br />asked to meet the requirements of this rule with regard to future disturbance at the West Pit and, <br />in the event that there are undisturbed areas, or reclaimed (topsoiled) areas to be redisturbed, <br />associated with the East or Section 16 Pits, these azeas too. The relocation and appazent reduction <br />in size of the 15J Topsoil Stockpile is noted. The Division proposes to review the status of <br />topsoil stockpiles, azeas proposed for direct placement, and haul distances as relate to the <br />reclamation cost estimate during the upcoming renewal of Permit C-81-019. The minor <br />relocation of Topsoil Stockpile 16G, and the addition of 16E is noted. <br />Rule 2.05.4(2)(d) <br />
