PUBLIC NOTICE C.B. Minerals Company, LLC, 8717 Delgany Avenue #215 Playa del Rey, CA 90293, has submitted an application for renewal of a valid existing permit to conduct mining in Colorado to the Division of Minerals and Geology. The permit renewal is for CB's Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine, mining permit No. C-84-065. The operation is in permanent cessation. The mine is located approximately 3 miles east of New Castle, south of the Colorado River in the Grand Hogback region in Garfield County. The Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine permit area is located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Storm King Mountain and New Castle Quadrangle maps. The mine permit area is located in portions of the following described lands: Township 6 South, Range 91 West, 6th PM Sec. 1: Those lands in the NEB/4 yet south of County Road 335, Lots 3 and 4, S~/z, S~/zNW~/4 Sec. 12: N~/zNE~/4 Township 6 South, Range 90 West, 6th PM Sec. 5: S~/ZSWV4 Sec. 6: All lands south of County Road Sec. 7: NE'/4, N~/zNW~/a Sec. 8: N~/2, N~/zSE~/4, NEB/4SW~/o Sec. 9: S~/zNW~/4, SW~/4 Sec. 15: NWT/4 Sec. 16: N~hNEV4. NEB/4NWY4 containing 2484.3 acres more or less Ownership of the land within the permit boundary is all private and includes land owned by NCIG Financial, Inc., Barton Porter and Leonard Rippy. A copy of the proposed renewal application is available for public inspection at the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder's office, Garfield County Court House, 109 8~' Street, Glenwood Springs CO, and at the offices of the Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, CO, 80203, (303) 866-3567.
