I~~ I~~I~~I~~I~II I~~
Interoffece Memo
Date: 12/11!98
To: Janet Binns
Cc: Dan Hernandez
From: Kent Gorham ~t'1
i
RE: CCMC adequacy Review, RN-03, #C~1-024
Thanks for your quick response to my questions concerning your adequacy review of the revegetation
related area of the CCMC permit Based on your response, I will ask them the following questions. Let
me know if these questions do not accurately reflect our concerns.
In which year(s) of the liability period was revegetation sampling conducted? If available, the
Division is interested to know if year nine data shows an increase in warm season grasses
following at least two years of spring grazing? Please submit all available vegetation sampling
data collected prior to year nine for review by the Division.
2. If grazing will be conducted in the spring of 1999, please submit an update of the details of the
plan, including timing, name and phone number of the livestock owner, and stocking rates.
Janet, while Greystone addresses these issues, please review the attached portion of the findings
under the heading Revecetation and make any necessary changes and/or additions. You may mark
them on your copy and return to me if you like, or if the changes are substantial, put them on the M
drive and I will get them during my written findings work. Thanks for your help.
KAG
attachment
