RESPONSE:
Review of existing pages 2.05-68-69 show no reference to revegetation
success. Rather, these pages refer to the soil stabilization practices of
chisel plowing and contour furrowing exclusively and are therefore located
in the appropriate section. Copies of these pages are included for your
reference. Information under the "Determination of Revegetation Success"
section has been reviewed and is deemed accurate.
MLRD CONCERN:
2. The page indicates that rangeland revegetation success will be compared
with the reference area condition to the 80% confidence level. Rule
4.15.8 specifies that a 90% confidence level is required. Please
revise the page accordingly.
RESPONSE:
Existing page 2.05-91 (Revised 2/25/88) indicates that a confidence level of
90% will be used, pursuant to Rule 4.15.8. A copy of the page has been
included with this submittal.

1. Noxious weed growth has been prevalent at Mine No. 3. Please submit a
revision which provides a detailed weed management plan. This must
include weed mapping and monitoring, spray schedules, and spray
application and type details.
RESPONSE:
CYCC feels that the information currently contained in the Permit document
is sufficient to meet the current regulation requirements.

RESPONSE:
Revised page 2.05-101 (enclosed) contains information on the current status
of the air emissions permit, which was transferred to CYVCC and deactivated
