Secondly, additional <br />changes would remove monitoring constituents from the list That yield little or no <br />value to the monitoring program. Each quarterly ground water monitoring report <br />previously submitted provides a summary of the baseline descriptive statistics <br />and descriptive statistics of the operational phase specific to the individual well <br />and monitoring constituent. <br />As a result of high natural gas prices and respectively high production costs per <br />ton of soda ash, the solution mining of nahcolite will be temporarily suspended <br />and the Yankee Gulch production site mothballed until economic viability is <br />reestablished. This technical revision will address the interim status period of <br />time during which the Piceance plant remains in temporary suspension of <br />production operations and the period of time following the suspension when <br />commercial production resumes. <br />Table 3 summarizes the wells, constituents. and frequency of sampling proposed <br />for the interim status (IS) time period during temporary suspension of <br />production operations.
