The Board understands that as <br />part of the Division's permitting process, impacts to water resources are carefully <br />examined and addressed. <br />The Board strongly supports the coal mining activities in the North Fork Valley of <br />Delta County and is not opposed to mine expansions. The Board acknowledges <br />the local concerns expressed for potential impacts to water resources and wants <br />to emphasize the importance of the Division giving due diligence to those <br />concerns as the application is reviewed by your agency. <br />Sincerely, <br />R.
