Please c/zange the wording to reflect that floe permit area is the
center l5 foot-wide stripe of said right of way --- etc.
Response: The wording on for fhe permit boundary for the water supply pipeline has been revised
as recommended in this comment. At the bottom of Page 3-13, the text has been
changed to read, "The permit boundary for the HG Shallow Well No. 1, anti
accompanying water supply pipeline can be described as the center IS foot wide strip
straddling the centerline of the described right of way and easement." It was not
appropriate to change the wording of the actual descriptions because they are legal
descriptions taken from recorded documents.
Item 2 (d) Page 3-1.4 Line 1. If the well is the point of beginning, N 60°33'55"E should be
change to read S 60°33'55"E.
Response: Line 1 on Page 3-1.4 has been revised to correct the point of beginning description.
Item 11 The loop Haul Raad FIGLF-HR-1 appears in the photograph on the left, taken May
1995, and in the photograph on the right, taken May 9, 1992 The parallel access road
to the north and west also appears in the photographs. Recent inspections confirm that
this haul road, inclzrding czrlvert LFC-1, as well as the parallel access road, are still in
place. Please include this loop hanl road and the parallel access road on drawings
that portray existing conditions at the site, and on post-TR-06 conditions if the roads
are to remain (un-reclaimed or modified).
Response: The loop road referenced in this comment is shown on Exhibit 12-1 (Revision 13, dated
06/06) and Exhibit 12-2 (Revision 10, dated 06/06). The loop road has been designated
as HGLF-HRIA. The road was surveyed in November 2005 and the data used to
develop a drawing showing the existing conditions. Appendix 12-5B, Haul Road
HGLF-HR1A Plan and Profile shows the existing conditions. The parallel access road
has been shown on historic drawings depicting the facilities area (see Exhibit 12-1
[Revision 9, TR-04 Incidental Permit Boundary Change, dated 8/99], and Exhibit 12-2
[Revision 9, TR-04 Incidental Permit Boundary Change, dated 8/99], which are found
in the PAP in Attachment 21-1, Existing Facilities Area Conditions). HGTI surveyed
the access road in May 2006 and used the data to develop a drawing showing the
existing conditions. This drawing, Appendix 12-SC, Facilities Area Access Road Plan
and Profile shows the both the existing alignment and the post-TR-06 alignment.
Hydro-Environmental Solutions, Inc,
P.O.Box 772996
5710"~Street, Suite B
Steamboat Springs, CO 80477
(970) 871-6/25
