Cripple Creek 8 Victor Gold Mining Company Traffic Study <br />areas), 17% of new employee trips were oriented towards Cripple Creek, 24% were oriented <br />towards Victor/Goldfield and Phantom Canyon Road, and 17% towards Canon City (Shelf <br />Road). <br />Using this distribution procedure, 74% of trips to/from Ironclad were oriented towards the <br />west on CR82 while 26% were oriented to/from the east. The distribution procedure resulted <br />in the same 74% / 26% orientation for the Carlton access as well. <br />Delivery of Operating Supplies <br />Delivery of operating supplies is oriented almost exclusively towards Highway 67 north. This <br />route provides the only highway connection to major centers of population and commerce, <br />likely distribution points for operating supply shipments for the mining operation.
