Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company Traffic Study <br /> <br />TRtP DISTRIBUTION <br />Employee Commutinq <br />The distribution of employee trips is primarily related to the location of their place of <br />residence. While 34% of mine employees live in Cripple Creek or Victor, some employees <br />commute from as far as Colorado Springs and Canon City. The <br />directional distribution for new employees was determined through examination of the place <br />of residence for current employees, assuming that new employees will live in the same <br />communities at the same proportions as the current employees. <br />• <br />Based on place of residence data supplied by the mine, 41 % of new employee trips were <br />oriented towards Highway 67 north (Woodland Padc, Divide, Colorado Springs, and Ute Pass <br />TranSystems Corporation -March 7, 2000 Page 7 <br />CC8°V Employment Distribution by City <br />Ute Pass Area Divide <br />1% 5eA <br />
