Specific items to verify
include sample condition on receipt, sample volume provided, bottle type,
preservative used, and unusual field conditions which alle noted on the
chain-of-custody record.
When a definitive explanation for the problem cannot be determined, sample
reanalysis is required (sample volume permitting). Non-conformances and all
corrective actions taken to eliminate the problem must be documented and
included in the job file. If necessary, a case narrative will be included with
the final report.
