<br />' SECTION 5: PROTOCOL FOR ANALYSIS OF SURFACE WATER AND GROUND <br />' WATER SAMPLES <br />' S.1 Samole Handling and Management <br />' Protocols for the handling and management of surface water and <br />ground water samples are described in Section 2.1 of this document. <br />Specifically, Sections 2.1.11 through 2.1.15 describe the actions <br />' to be taken by the analytical laboratory and the Project Manager <br />with respect to: <br />(1) Laboratory review of sample integrity and documentation <br />(Section 2.1.11); <br />(2) Laboratory quality control check (Section 2.1.12); <br />' (3) Analysis of samples (Section 2.1.13); <br />(4) Verification of analysis performed as requested (Section <br />2.1.14); and <br />I (5) Quality control check of analytical results (Section <br />1 2.1.15). <br />I 5.2 Analytical Protocols <br />The lists of water quality parameters for analysis arp given in <br />Table 1, for January and July sampling periods, and in Table 2, for <br />' April and October sampling periods. <br />The analytical protocols to be used for analysis of suriface water <br />and ground water samples are those described in USEPA EPAr600/4-79- <br />' -31- <br />~~ <br />
