Bowie No. 2 TR-06, [cave Bob the numbers on January ~, 1999. Bob said he could take care of <br />it with a one page determination, since the evaporative loss is so small. <br />Concerning the Bowie No. 2 TR-07, Bob said that the large increase in consumptive use would <br />necessitate a more involved review and that OSVi needs to request consultation by the U.S. Fish <br />& Wildlife Service. Bob suggested that the operator submit a letter to OSVI, committins to <br />making the payment to the Fish and Wildlife Foundation for the anticipated water depletion. I <br />sent this request to the operator. Attached is a copy of that January 6, 1999 letter. Also attached <br />are the cover letter, which describes the revision subject, and two pages from the technical <br />revision concerning water consumption. <br />Concerning the Bowie No. 1 TR-29, the operator had provided a figure of 0.25 ac-ft/yr as the <br />evaporative loss. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service waived the depletion fee, in a letter dated <br />December 2, 1998. In a letter dated January 8, 1999, the operator revised the depletion figure to <br />0.5 ac-fdyr. This is still below the 100 ac-fUyr threshold for requiring a fee. <br />Finally, concerning the Bowie No. 1 TR-30, the operator recently provided the figure for the <br />anticipated increase in water consumption for the loadout.
