This consultation is being requested for projects associated with the <br />following proposed mining activities: <br />Bowie No. 2 Mine <br />Technical Revision No. 06 -Relocation and enlargement of sedimentation pond B. <br />Increase in evaporative loss of .OS ac-ft/yr, from .94 ac-ft/yr to .99 <br />ac-ft/yr. <br />Technical Revision No. 07 -Change in mine plan to longwall mining. <br />Increase in consumptive use of 182.5 ac-fdyr, from 124 ae-fUyr to <br />306.5 ac-fUyr. <br />Bowie No. 1 Mine <br />Technical Revision No. 29 - Enlargement of West Ridge waste pile <br />Increase in evaporative toss of 0.5 ac-ft/yr, from 4.6 ac-ft/yr to 5.1 <br />ac-ft/yr. <br />Technical Revision No. 30 -Increase in production level at loadout. <br />Increase in consumptive use of 72.1 ac-fJyr, from 30.9 ac-ft/yr to <br />103 ac-ft/yr. <br />As I had discussed with you over the phone, I have been speaking with Bob Leachman of the <br />U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service in Grand !unction concerning these revisions. conceming the <br />
