Mrs. Alsdorf as well as the employee of her office will verify to
you that the subject papers had been delivered to her office
prior to my October 1 visit. They can be reached at 303 945
2377.
I am prepared to furnish you with an affidavit by Mr. Dennis
Stranger of Glenwood Springs, (tel. 945 2833) who personally
delivered the papers to the County in early September, at the
same time when I delivered them to your office.
If Mr. McKennis was not able to make his request for the informa-
tion clear to the county, and, therefore, the county was not able
to show him the papers, that should not be the basis for claims
that this company was in violation of the regulation, unless you
inform me that submittal letters also need to be on public dis-
play and therefore the county files were not complete.
Since the latter, to my best knowledge, is not part of the
regulations, I do repeat the statement, that all papers and maps,
which were the basis of TR-9 had been delivered on a timely basis
to the county office and BLM office in Glenwood Springs and,
therefore, were available for public inspection at the time the
public notice was published in the Glenwood Post.
We, therefore, repeat the request, that since we were in com-
pliance with the regulations, that the requirement to re-publish
the public notice and are subject to an additional 30 day review
period be withdrawn.
Sincerely,
.~ O ~~~
E.
