Letter to Mesa County Commissioners from more than 400 concerned <br />citizens, together with summation, dated 27th of May, 1992. <br />Q. Fugitive Particulate Emissions Control permit requirements. The State <br />Health Department has contracted with the County Health Department to <br />enforce these requirements. <br />Conditional use permits for the pits have been granted subject to annual <br />commissioner review. The last review was February 1991, meaning both permits <br />expired February 1992. No agency seems concerned that Parkerson is frantically <br />hauling overburden material to the new Grand Junction Confluence Park on <br />expired permits. Nothing is being watered and the dust is flying. Does anyone <br />care about the taxpayer? <br />Please consider all issues raised in this ]etter as comments pertinent to <br />the permit application.
