Copies of method deviation documentation should be kept on fife in the laboratory QA/QC office and in the corporate quality assurance department. Summaries of analytical method requirements for organic, metals, and inorganic parameters are provided in the Laboratory Documentation Manual. 12.4 Detection Limit Studies Detection limits should be established for all analytes on each instrument. If ' required, the detection limit should also be determined for each different sample matrix analyzed. ' A minimum of seven replicates of a standard prepared at a concentration 2-5 times the estimated detection limit should be analyzed. This shall be accomplished according to guidelines set forth in the applicable method.
