*"
STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN (SWMP)
AND EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL REPORT
I ~' FOR
ST. VRAIN LAKE GRADING IMPROVEMENT PLANS
r2
T
Page 7
Si
I
J. Non-Stormwater Discharges
Potable water is anticipated as a non-storm water discharge. Potable water
may be used for grading, dust control, and irrigation of erosion control and
permanent landscaping. An effort shall be made to use only the amount of
potable water required for these operations. Construction de-watering is not
anticipated as a part of this project. Any other non-storm water discharges
,.
resulting from construction activity are not covered under this SWMP. If
groundwater discharges are anticipated, a separate construction de-
watering discharge permit is required through the CDPHE.
- i K. Outfalls and Receiving Waters
ii
According to the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for Weld County,
~ Colorado Community No. 080266 0850 C and No. 080266 0855 C dated
. ; September 27, 1991, a portion of the site is located within zone C, an area
outside of the 100-year floodplain, however the southern portion of the site
is located within the 100-year floodplain. Historically, the storm runoff from
the site sheet flows south to the St. Vrain River. All onsite flows from
disturbed land to the north due to the lake grading have been accounted for
' ' with temporary sediment ponds.
II. Site Map
The vicinity map located in Appendix 'A' shows the development site. A
detailed site map with up-to-date BMPs and tracking of progress is provided in
"' the Lake Grading plan set. Temporary erosion and sedimentation controls
including silt fences, check dams, diversion ditches, and sedimentation ponds
are presented at the end of this report, as well as any permanent controls. To
' ' maintain compliance with CDPHE's requirements, the site map must accurately
. ; reflect measures implemented on the site. Often, as construction progresses,
BMPs are modified for improved efficiency. Any modifications must be
indicated on the site map and the SWMP kept on the site must reflect the
~ . conditions of the site. The SWMP Administrator can keep the SWMP current by
"red lining" and marking other notes on drawings and in the text of the SWMP to
' accurately portray the actual erosion and sediment controls used on the site.
~ Significant changes to the SWMP will need to be re-submitted to Weld County.
i,
