Consumotive Use of Water and Water Rights
Consumptive use of water will be through dust suppression in the plant area and
on the interior haul road, and through evaporative loss of mined materials and
alluvial groundwater exposed during mining.
An annual accounting of the consumptive use of the mining operations water
needs is required to be submitted to the State as part of the Substitute Supply
Plan. Amore complete description of the consumptive use of water by this
operation is contained in the "Temporary Substitute Supply Plan" which will be
submitted to the Colorado Division of Water Resources by the Applegate Group
under separate cover.
