In order to tneet the <br />minimum requirements of the Act/Construction Mineral Rules and Regulations, the following <br />items need to be addressed: <br />Application -Please submit a revised page 1 of the application packet. Page 1 needs to be <br />revised to include the correct permit name (Fremont County Pit), the correct permit number (M- <br />1984-117), the correct current permit acreage (7.6 acres), the correct change in acreage (2.3 <br />acres) and the correct total acreage {9.9 acres). Need one original and one copy. <br />,( 1. Exhibit A -Must contain a map showing information sufficient to determine the location of <br />1` the affected land and must contain the names of all adjacent surface owners of record. <br />2. Exhibit B - OK <br />3. Exhibit C - OK -the mining plan is described in the original permit under Exhibit B. <br />Additional Concerns; <br />Since the existing approved timetable of operations is out-dated, the applicant needs to specify <br />estimated dates that mining will commence and end. <br />~( Also, if the operation is intended to be an intermittent operation as defined in C.R.S. 34-32.5- <br />1- 103(11)(b), the applicant should include in this exhibit a statement that conforms to the <br />provisions of Section 34-32.5-103(11)(b), C.R.S. <br />Will the pit be excavated deeper than the approved 20-foot limitation? If so, will groundwater be <br />encountered? <br />The applicant needs to specify the thickness of overburden, if any, to be removed to reach the <br />deposit. The location of overburden stockpiles must be shown on exhibit E Mining Plan map. <br />-Specify [he thickness of the deposit to be mined. <br />
