This response was submitted in the form of an Amendment (AM-01) to the <br />Anderson Pit application. The application, including the AM-01, cannot be approved until the following <br />remaining issues are adequately addressed. Please submit a response to the following issues as soon as <br />possible, but no later than December 7, 2005 so the decision due date set for December 14, 2005 can be <br />met. If you cannot respond by December 7, 2005 please submit a written request for extension of the <br />decision date. If your response, or an extension request, are not received by December 7, 2005 this <br />application may be denied. <br />ADEQUACY ISSUES <br />Exhibit C -Pre-mining and Mining Plan Maps <br />1. Please add the overhead powertine that runs on a northwest bearing from the northwest corner of <br />the site. Please show construction details for the settling pond and discharge pipe installation, <br />including energy dissipater aprons for the outlets. <br />6. Map C-2 must be further revised to show the asphalt plant in Phase 12 as stated in the permit <br />text. Also, the map will need to be revised to show the site prior to excavation of Phase 12 so the <br />maximum extent of the affected area for the office/plant stockpile facilities, sediment control <br />features and topsoil stockpile for this phase can be shown. <br />7.
