5. CONTRACTOR shall preserve integrity and readability of the geonet roll labels, and <br />store such that CQA Monitor shall have access to the package slips or roll labels for <br />each roll to verify roll acceptance. <br />PART 2: PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. The material to be used on the project shall comprise HDPE geonet drainage material. <br />B. Geonet shall meet or exceed the minimum properties listed in Table 02275-1, at the eod of <br />this Section. <br />3.01 INSTALLATION <br />A. The geonet shall be installed in accordance with the Manufacturer's recommended <br />procedures. <br />B. The CQA Monitor shall verify that all geonet rolls and underlying layers are free from <br />deleterious material or debris prior to the geonet deployment. Dirt entrapped in the geonet <br />following deployment shall be cleaned or affected geonet removed and replaced prior to <br />placement of successive layers. <br />B. On side-slopes, the geonet shall be secured in the anchor trench and shall be deployed <br />parallel to the dip of the slope. The geonet panels shall be positioned to minimize wrinkles. <br />• D. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for anchoring exposed geonet to protect against wind <br />damage until subsequent layers are placed. <br />E. The geonet shall not be welded to the geomembrane unless speciFied otherwise. <br />F. The geonet shall only be cut utilizing methods and tools (i.e., a hooked utility blade) which <br />will not damage the geonet or other previous WORK. <br />G. The geonet shall be overlapped a minimum of six (6) inches between adjacent panels and <br />shall be fastened in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations or as approved by <br />MANAGER. <br />H. in general, butt-seams will only be allowed on grades less than fifteen percent (15%). Butt- <br />seams shall be overlapped a tninimum of two (2) feet and be secured in accordance with <br />manufacturer's recommendations or as approved by CERTIFYING ENGINEER. <br />The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for Field handling, storing, deploying, seaming or <br />joining, temporary restraining (against wind), anchoring, and other aspects of geonet <br />installation. <br />L. The CONTRACTOR shall accept and retain full responsibility for all materials and <br />installation and shall be Geld responsible for any defects in the completed systems. <br />3.02 REPAD2S <br />A.
