This statement should be updated. <br />32) Section 4.4.3.1 - Mine, Shaft and Drill Hole Closure: <br />Please specify which monitoring wells will be abandoned <br />during the upcoming reclamation. <br />33) Page 4-61, 2nd Paragraph, 4th Sentence states' "In any <br />short, very steep channels (greater than 3:1) are created <br />to control runoff flow, they were rocked to minimize <br />erosion." Please replace this statement with a complete <br />sentence that conveys the intended message. <br />Section 4.5 Post Mining Land IIae <br />34) If NCIG proposes to change the postmining land use for <br />_ some portions of the permit area, then this section needs <br />to be updated to address the proposed changes. <br />Section 4.6.3 Protection of the Hydrologic Balance <br />35) Section 4.6.3.3 Ongoing Groundwater Monitoring should be <br />updated to reflect the proposed changes due to the <br />upcoming reclamation, if applicable. <br />SECTION VI - BONDING BLTMMARY <br />No permitting actions have transpired since the reclamation cost <br />estimate was last calculated by DMG in November, 1992. Reclamation <br />costs have not changed since the last estimate either. The current <br />reclamation bond held by the Division is sufficient for existing <br />disturbances on site. Should additional construction commence on <br />the site, the operator will need to provide appropriate bond in <br />accordance with Stipulation No. 4 <br />8 <br />
