~ 234 <br />1 operations. if we have a dusting potential, if we <br />' 2 have, through the operating scenario I described <br /> 3 this morning, the development of dust, it simply <br />' 4 means we have achieved our objective in terms of <br /> 5 producing desiccated tailings. <br />' 6 It means we can then operate and qo back <br /> ~ into the area that is beginning to dust. It is the <br />' 8 easiest and the quickest sign that Battle Mountain <br />' 9 Gold is operating the facility correctly. If there <br /> 10 is the start of any dusting from the surface, you <br />' 11 simply go back to the area where you need to be and <br /> 12 deposit new tailings. <br /> 13 My last comment was in relationship to <br /> 14 the seismic design criteria. I think I will simply <br />' 15 reference the extensive comments and extensive <br /> 16 submission that went into the (inaudible) prior to <br /> <br /> 17 this hearing, the discussions we had with the <br />' 18 experts from the Board side of it. <br /> 19 In terms of our operation, evaluating <br />' 20 what seismic potential was in that area, we were <br /> 21 aware that there was a seismic potential, which is <br />' 22 why we did the extent of work that we did. <br />' 23 We then, as I said this morning, came to <br /> 24 the decision on a present design criteria, which, in <br />' 25 our opinions, will give us a very reliable, high <br />' AGREN, BLANDO & BILLINGS <br /> <br />
