1 We don't know what the rebuttal people
2 are going to say and I don't know if we are going to
3 have time to cross-examine them afterward. If there
4 are 11 witnesses (inaudible).
5 THE CHAIRMAN: The procedure calls for
6 you to make your cross-examination at this point and
7 I think --
8 MR. COHEN: We are going to be crossing
9 witnesses that haven't come up.
10 THE CHAIRMAN: I don't think they will
11 be witnesses. I think they are going to be people
12 who provide rebuttal or a closing statement, which
13 isn't subject to cross-examination.
14 MR. COHEN: I think the rebuttal -- my
15 understanding of what Battle Mountain intends 'to do
16 now is put on rebuttal witnesses, other experts that
17 they have retained and brought here. Those are the
18 people that are probably going to be appropriate
19 people to respond to the questions that we want. to
20 ask.
21 And it just seems to me, at least it
22 would be more appropriate to ask those people rather
23 than people who won't know the answers to the
24 questions or who will have to be -- we are going to
25 be asking questions of people who haven't even given
