SMITH: We took a sample out of the
bulk tailings (inaudible}.
UNIDENTIFIED PERSON: And is the same
testing, the EPA testing 1312, that same testing
establishing that these were not acid generated?
MR. SMITH: No, that's a different
process entirely.
UNIDENTIFIED PERSON: (Inaudible)?
MR. SMITH: Certainly. (Inaudible).
The humidity cell process is a Forocess
of trying to assist and speed up the (inaudible}
sulfides in the tailings. There are sulfides in the
tailings, which, if oxidized under the right
circumstances, no chemical buffering would cause
acid generation -- is acid generation.
What you do, you take a sample and
expose it (inaudible) to air that is
moisture-saturated and then dry it, dry things
out, and you do that cyclically for seven da7rs,
and then you leach all the products from that test.
You repeat that week upon week far
AGREN, BLANDO & BILLINGS
