The <br />developer of the project, Carma (Coloradol, Inc. has been working with <br />Kinder Morgan and is aware of their existing and planned facilities. <br />8. Topsoil will be stripped and stockpiled at the southeast corner of County Road <br />28 and future County Road 9.5, which is approximately 1 /2 mile north of the <br />existing lakes, This is ithe same location that will be used to stockpile topsoil <br />from the grading operations related with the adjacent residential development <br />by Carma (Colorado), Inc. The topsoil related to the lake reclamation will be <br />approximately 32,000cubic yards of material and will generally occupy an area <br />of 200-feet by 400-feet and 10-feet high. <br />9. Existing riparian veget tion that is native to Weld County, such as the few <br />mature cottonwood trees and sandbar willow, will be left in place where <br />possible. Much of the lakeshore will be regraded. Disturbed areas will be <br />seeded, and trees and shrubs planted. Lake edge species will be either native <br />to Weld County or compatible with the native plants. Limited areas of mown <br />turf and unplanted beach are planned. <br />The native soil consists predominantly of sands and gravels with varying <br />amounts of clay, silt, gravel, and cobbles. Fertilizer will not be used in the <br />native revegetation areas around the lakes. However, a limited amount of <br />fertilizer may be used in the minor areas of mown turf if it is warranted <br />according to a soil analysis. <br />Seeded areas will mu <br />hydromulch mix is us <br />application.
