The Division is aware that the maps submitted with the Technical Revision request may fulfill the last of these
requirements, but a statement from the Applicant confirming this is necessary for Division records. Please also be
aware that if any of the added 3.? acres will be affected by the mining activities at the site, the acreage must be
added to the permit through an Amendment to the permit and not through this Technical Revision.
Please be advised that the Aggregate Industries - WCR, Inc., Longmont Distel Operations 112(c) Technical Revision
Application (TR-04}, may be deemed inadequate, and the application may be denied on November 8, 2004 unless the
above mentioned adequacy review items aze addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. If you feel more time is
needed to complete the above requirements, the Division can grant an extension to the decision date. This wilt be done
upon receipt of a written waiver of your right to a decision by November 8, 2004 and request for additional time. This
must be received no later than the deadline date. In that the above items include an inspection of the site, the Division
suggests that the Applicant consider requesting a further extension to the decision date. Please be awaze that depending
on the answers that aze received regarding the above adequacy issues and observations made during the inspection, the
Division may have further adequacy questions.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at (303) 866-4935.
Sincerely,
l~~i /~ 6~
K//ate Pickford ~
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Carl Mount; DMG t/
