The portable lights will only be used at the bottom of the pit for <br />the purpose of after hours equipment maintenance and crushing activities within the permitted <br />hours in the winter months while the days are shorter. Due to the depth of the pit, the buffers left <br />azound the property and the berms which aze placed in certain locations, lighting is not expected <br />• to cause a nuisance to any neighbors. Furthermore, lighting will be shielded in order to further <br />ensure that the lights do not cause a nuisance. Portable toilets will be used for employees. All <br />structures on site are shown on Map C-2. The portable mining equipment such as loaders, <br />dozers, trucks and excavators will be serviced off site. Upon reclamation, all portable equipment <br />will be removed from the site. <br />The Redi-Mix/Asphalt Plant facility azea will be fenced in with a locked gate for security <br />purposes. Emergency access to the site in the event of a petroleum spill will be available to the <br />local fire department and Sheriff via a lock box posted neaz the gate to the site. A Spill <br />Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan has been prepazed by Greg Lewicki and <br />Associates for the Anderson Pit mining operation. The SPCC provides all the necessary <br />information on how to handle a petroleum spill in accordance with the requirements of Chapter <br />40 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 112, including actions to be taken, agencies to be <br />notified, and pertinent contact information in the event of a spill.
