• Henderson landfill. Estimated costs for facility demolition are presented in
Appendix F. These costs do not reflect surface portions of the PC2 Conveyor
from the underground workings. Detailed cost analysis for financial warranty
consideration is found in Section 4.0.
3.8 Final Reclamation
A tabularized summary of final reclamation activities and tasks is found in Table
3. In addition, this table presents defined vegetation stand acreages and other
acreage definitions of disturbances within the newly affected area. These areas
are discussed further in Exhibit J and presented in Table 1 within Exhibit J.
The general timetable of final reclamation activities is shown in Table 4. As with
Table 3, Table 4 is linked to Exhibit J (Table 1).
• 3.8.1 Site Backfill and Regrading
The Plan map (Exhibit C) shows fill slope locations where some backfill will occur
in final grading. Backfill activities are planned for cut slopes that are constructed
in weathered bedrock materials.
Cuts from approximate stations 94+00 to 98+00, 101+00 to 105+00, and 131+00
to 137+00 will be backfilled to form reduced slope bases toes. Excavators will
be used to reduce slope crowns. Breaking slopes between 1.5H:1V and 4H:1V
are expected along the road cuts. Slope will vary according to the presence of
indurated materials. Cuts afford the greatest opportunity for view occlusion
along the right-of-way. Because of this, slope configurations between the cuts
will vary in height and width. Backfill materials will be taken from adjacent fill
sections during slope reduction operations.
All
24
January 16.1999
PIan.d.
