SOILS INFORMATION
EXIIIBIT I
A general soils report was supplied by the NRCS. The area of the Colona Pit is not covered
under any of the Soil Surveys which are still in publication and is not available with the NRCS's
new digital data format online. A copy of the Soil Information from the original permit can be
seen on the following pages. The original Soils Information Exhibit only included United
Company's property, however the included pages have Jutten's property outlined in red. Soil
descriptions for all of the soil types can also be found in the following pages.
Topsoil and overburden thicknesses average 6 inches as seen onsite. RE~EI\~E~
DEC 1 12006
Division of Reclamation.
Mining and Safety
Colona Pit November 06 I-1
