Wildlife such as waterfowl and amphibians that use the wetland and riparian azeas on the lower <br />terrace will also be unaffected because the existing natural berm will not be disturbed and the <br />water levels in the lower terrace will not change due to the mining method employed. By not <br />pumping water from the pit, the ground water levels will not change.
