LLC <br />Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan <br />Also refer to Exhibit F: Reclamation Plan Map. <br />Overview <br />The area will be reclaimed to rangeland use, which is consistent with surrounding land <br />uses. This area will also be reclaimed to maintain a suitable habitat for Sage Grouse. <br />Reclamation Process <br />The pit will be mined at slopes that range from 2:1 to 3:1 so backfilling of the pit will not <br />be necessary. Topsoil will be replaced upon the completion of mining and amended as <br />necessary to provide an acceptable growth medium <br />Topsoil Preservation <br />Topsoil stripped prior to mining will be stockpiled separately from overburden as <br />screening berms around the permit boundary, or within the pit area, and will be <br />preserved by a temporary seed mix untii ready for placement on the surface. <br />Final Grading <br />The reclaimed slopes will vary from 2:1 to 3:1 around the perimeter of the mined area. <br />Topsoil Replacement <br />Four inches of topsoil will be used after mining has been completed <br />Reveaetation <br />The area will be re-seeded as suggested by the National Resource Conservation <br />Service. Please see Attachment A for a letter from NRCS regarding recommended <br />methods and rates of seeding as well as time of year for seeding and planting.
