(the °Applicant/Operator") has applied <br />for an amendment to a regular (112) reclamation permit from the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board ("the Board") to conduct a <br />construction materials mining operation in Logan County known as <br />the Harley Pit #1. The attached information is being provided to <br />notify you of the location and nature of the proposed operation. <br />The entire application is on file with the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division ("the Division") and the Logan County Clerk <br />and Recorders office at 315 Main, Sterling, CO 80751. <br />The applicant proposes to reclaim the land to a private recre- <br />ation area. Pursuant to C.R.S. 34-32.5-116(4)(m), C.R.S., the <br />Board may confer with the local Board of the Soil Conservation <br />District before approving the post-mining land use. Accordingly, <br />the Board would appreciate your comments on the proposed opera- <br />tion.
