Even so, production is highly speculative. Atypical site will have a single rock structure <br />consisting of one or more pegmatite bodies running through it. Additionally, these <br />structures can produce, without any indications whatsoever, a few to many gapefiuit- to <br />watermelon-sized miarolytic gas pockets which apparently exist without related rock <br />structures. Miarolytic cavities, in particular, are highly unpredictable and aze considered <br />a bonus if discovered. Generally when excavating along any given structure, a number of <br />these miarolytic pockets are encountered. <br />Our expected rock structures will run at best 100 feet and can be likened to a lazge <br />hotdog-shaped body of pegmatite rock enclosed in surrounding ganite rock of smaller <br />crystallized gains. The diameter of the structures we expect to encounter will be up to <br />20 feet, but more often, will be no more than 2 to 3 feet thick. Sometimes two or more <br />structures will run approximately pazallel and within a few feet of each other. <br />Throughout a given structure, we can expect to find up to a dozen crystal cavities of <br />suitable size. These cavities will be elliptical in shape and range from an average of 1 <br />foot by 9 inches to 4 feet by 6 feet. Hopefully, we will encounter at least two of these <br />larger cavities. <br />When cavities are discovered, they may contain quality crystals of predominately blue- <br />geen microcline feldspar (variety amazonite) and smoky colored quartz. Many times, <br />however, the microcline is of white or tan variety and has little or no commercial value. <br />Other minor minerals such as fluorite and goethite may also be encountered. Intact <br />crystal cavities with high quality minerals are raze. We hope to find the more highly <br />prized and valuable combination specimens of smoky quartz and amazonite in sufficient <br />quantities to enable continued mining and production ofprofitable specimens. <br />Most of the rock structures we will excavate aze exposed at the surface. Other structures, <br />particularly those at Sites A through E are about IS feet deep. Almost always when a <br />rock structure is cut through, it rests on intact, unbroken ganite. At this point, further <br />excavation is generally unprofitable. Most excavations will not exceed 20 feet deep. <br />6.6.1) (e) Mining~eration components: <br />There are essentially no mine operation components needed for this operation. <br />We will not use nor construct any buildings, maintenance stations, mess halls, sleeping <br />facilities, washing or sorting plants. We will have no undergound workings nor any <br />open adits or hoist shafts. We will not require any power or water requirements other <br />than for personal use and a small quantity of water for washing minerals to examine <br />potential value. Water for this use will be brought in from off site. All road access will <br />be limited to existing logging trails and 4WD jeep roads. We will "walk in" all <br />mechanized equipment. <br />
