In addition [o this plat form all <br />currently disturbed areas will be treated with top soil, seeded and stabilize to prevent erosion. <br />Seeding <br />The seed mix that was submitted with the original application does not comply with mixes <br />required by Urban Drainage and Flood Control District. The District has regulatory control <br />of areas adjacent to the river and in the flood plain. The best management practice for <br />controlling plant species that are compatible with this area is to utilize the District's <br />recommended seed mix. A copy of the seeding and restoration specification is included in <br />the submittal of this Amendment. Also enclosed is the proposed seed mix. <br />Weed Control and Mowing <br />Denver Water complies with applicable local or county requirements with regard to weed <br />control and height of grasses. This area has considerable wildlife activity, especially <br />waterfowl. Denver Water will utilize best management practices to avoid adverse impacts to <br />the wild life at the same time control all noxious weeds. We will utilize State of Colorado <br />guidelines for managing this area with respect to controlling noxious weeds. <br />
