EXHIBIT A -LEGAL DESCRIPTON
The amended San Luis Project permit area covers 1861 acres with the following legal
description. The Universal Transverse Mercator coordinates (NAD 1927) of the main
mine entrance are shown on Figure A-1. No additional mining is proposed under this
permit amendment. Descriptions of the properties immediately adjacent to the San
Luis Project can be found in the 1989 permit amendment.
